Consultation

What’s the first step?

Free Phone or Video Consultation

Are you unsure what service you want to book? Are you wanting to chat about your project, or get a feel for who you’d be be working with?

I offer a FREE 30-minute phone or video consultation to help us get to know each other and talk about your work in progress (WIP), your goals for your project, and timeline.

The next step after our consultation would be a sample edit to determine the level of edits needed and an estimated budget and timeline.

Sample Edits

If you’d prefer to get right to it, I recommend starting with the sample edits!

This is a valuable step for the editor to evaluate what level of editing is required and if they have the availability to give the project the time and energy it deserves. They are equally as valuable for the author, who can assess the editor’s work via the sample chapter, as well as get a feel for what it will be like working with said editor.

Sample edits are also a great way to determine an estimated timeline and costs for the project.
